Abundant Life #1 began its operations in 1977 by Zoar Lutheran Church as an outreach for senior citizens who are on a low income. The Board of Trustees are members of Zoar while our guidelines and funding are governed by HUD. Abundant Life #2 was started in 1993 with walk-in showers and pull cords for emergency responses.
Abundant Life 1 and 2 are located in a secluded, quiet, residential neighborhood in Perrysburg, Ohio. Our one-bedroom, garden apartments are near a park, local shopping, restaurants, churches, and banks. We have a bus that transports residents to grocery stores and to various activities on a weekly basis.
Abundant Life offers activities that will encourage residents to live their lives abundantly. Activities include Bingo, Wii games, potlucks, church services, cards, social hours, exercise, free meals at Zoar Church, and house calls by hairstylists and a foot doctor.
